I am Back!

Hi Everybody,

I had a wonderful time and I am worn out. I was unable to post during vacation, could never get on the computer. I will be updating what happened each day and place photos this week.

OMG, This is Really Happening!!!!

Well, I'm getting nerved out, eerrrgghhhh

But, packed, repacked, repacked, weighed my suitcase, only about 22 pounds, woohoooo!!! So, It's all good in the hood. Looks like the weather has been in the 60's and 70's, very cool.

Making sure I have all my reservation info. I am leaving for the airport at 5:30 AM!!!!!! OMG, I'm hoping to be able to sleep on the plane (better not be next to a chatty Kathy or a huge person, or a huge chatty Kathy, good God) lol....

I will have my cell with me, think I am set up for sending/receiving text message for 35cents. But, phone calling is 1.29 a minute, WTF???? Anyhoo, when I get to Paris I will look to buy a phone card, if not, oh well....

So, I'm hoping to be able to make blog updates as we go. If not, check the team one, I know our teacher will be updating that each day. Located at:

Cool place to find travel stuff AAA Store, found me a blow up u shaped pillow and a journal. But, they do not carry clip on sunglasses, yeah yeah, quit laughin and saying I'm old!!!! ha ha ha

I'm heading out of work, gonna finally start packing. Got to make a list, yes, we established I'm old, ha ha

Ok, this is my last day of work and Friday the 13th, woo hooooo

It's getting closer to vacation time!

Ok, so I'm stressing, still, lol

I am trying to get all caught up, funny we wear ourselves out getting ready for our vacation. Then we wear ourseves out on vacation. Then when we get back we recoup from our vacation...hmmmmm

Anhoo, I'm trying to tie up loose ends before I leave. Classes are winding up before they wind down on the 14th. I had to call my phone company  so I can use my phone while I'm away at a 1.29 a minute not sure I will be using it very much! But, I can text for 35 cents, wooo hoooo

I now have a ride to and from Sea Tac (that's good) I still have to figure out how to get euro. Exchange rates, hmmmm, yeah, I know we have done this in class but.....

Here I am studing in my car on my lunch break, as usual!!!!

I have so much to do, running out of time eerrgghh

Hi Everybody!

I'm trying to get research papers, finals, readings, postings done for my 2 courses. Classes end on the 14th and I leave on the 16th......omg! Needless, to say I haven't had much time to prepare for my trip. I need to exchange us money for euros, contact my bank to let them know I will be using my credit/debit card like crazy, register my passport with the US Consulate, arrange transportation to the airport and back, pay bills, buy the big bottle of chewable car/air sick pills and pack.....

So, here is my updated serenity prayer

Funny Modern Serenity Prayer

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I cannot accept,
And the wisdom to hide the bodies of those people
I had to off today because they ticked me off.
And also, help me to be careful of the toes I step on today
As they may be connected to the butt that I have to kiss tomorrow.
Help me to always give 100% at work... 12% on Monday, 23% on Tuesday,
40% on Wednesday, 20% on Thursday, and 5% on Friday.
And help me to remember...
When I'm having a really bad day,
And it seems that people are trying to tick me off,

HI Everybody I'm stressing out!

It's getting to be crunch time, I have research papers, quizes, finals all due in the next 2 weeks, omg!!! Classes end on the 14th and I leave on the 16th, good grief. We return on the 29th and class starts again on the 30th.....eerrgghhhh

I have been watching the weather in Paris, looks like they have been in the 70's. So, I need to figure out what the heck I'm going to pack. I tried on one pair of shorts from last year, woo hoo, they still fit! I'm told some places we cannot wear shorts or tank tops, WTF? So, while on vacation they will let us know each day what clothing to wear, or not to, lol....
